QUARTZ AND SHELL HEALING WAND

With the turning of the calendar year, and since I am on winter break, I have been busily revisiting my crafty side...so, in the process, I have been creating a few new useful tools as well...This is my Quartz and shell healing wand. I know the photographs are not the best...I need a new memory card still for my camera.

Clear quartz has been used since ancient times, as it was believed to be a source of power and energy. While they believed this on an intuitive level, modern measuring equipment has proved this to be correct.

Clear Quartz Crystals are strong amplifiers of energy, and are often used in healing rooms by alchemical healing practitioners.

Often the quartz is combined with candles to amplify the candle's energy, as fire was a very important element.

The combination of the healing crystals with the candles give both the practitioner and client an increased level of protection. This ensures that only positive spirits will be attracted into the healing space. The clear quartz cluster also works to help the client to release any negative energy discharged during the treatment.

This little wand has been given the extra added advantage of the water element. A large shell was used, with one end cut and drilled to insert the clear quartz point. It was then surrounded by clusters of tiny shells, no bigger than a pinky nail. It measures roughly 4 inches in length total.
